  1. 0:00 Hey guys, I just wanted to come on here and kind of talk a little bit about what's going on with the Russia and Ukraine war right now.
  2. 0:06 Uh I personally am half Russian and half Ukrainian, so I do really pay close attention to this stuff because we still have some family and friends in that area.
  3. 0:16 And the last few days have been really wild.
  4. 0:18 So, first off, Russia and Ukraine, still not even close to any peace talks.
  5. 0:23 Uh, a few days ago, Russia just said that there's no agenda at all for a meeting between Putin and Zelensky in the near future.
  6. 0:29 Meanwhile, the Secretary General of NATO just showed up in Kyiv out of nowhere, and he was promising new security guarantees.
  7. 0:36 And this is just to show the world that NATO is very serious about long-term support for Ukraine, even though they're not a part of NATO.
  8. 0:44 Militarily, Ukraine has been making lots of moves in the in this last couple weeks.
  9. 0:49 Yesterday there was a huge attack.
  10. 0:51 Over 500 drones and 40 missiles were fired, but most of them got shut down, which shows a lot about how strong Ukraine's air defenses are right now and how much stronger they've gotten with support from U from the United States.
  11. 1:03 On top of that, Ukraine just revealed this new cruise missile uh called Flamingo.
  12. 1:07 This can hit targets up to 3,000 kilometers away, and this is a very big deal because this basically means that Russia can't assume that deep areas in their country, such as more to the east, uh, are safe anymore because this this new missile has an extended range.
  13. 1:21 What's crazy is that all this is kind of happening right now as world leaders are scrambling to figure out the next steps.
  14. 1:26 Nobody really knows what's gonna happen next.
  15. 1:28 Um, there was even a meeting in DC a few days ago, and in the middle of it, Trump took a call with Putin just out of nowhere, which kind of just shows how unpredictable this entire situation is.
  16. 1:37 Honestly, no one really can predict how this is gonna end, but from what I'm seeing right now, Ukraine's leverage is definitely growing in this war while Russia is also digging in.
  17. 1:46 It's gonna be interesting and pretty intense, and we're gonna see how the next few weeks play out.
