  1. 0:00 Gaines, that's a very interesting question.
  2. 0:03 Um and I do think there are different ways you can approach it.
  3. 0:07 Obviously, I do think your example of being wasteful when it comes to food is could kind of be seen as an outlier.
  4. 0:14 Um because that's food is just something that does go to waste all the time in our country, and it's also something that can go to waste within a matter of hours.
  5. 0:28 But I'm kind of on the side where if you look approach it as them being wasteful, the way I see it is they've earned this money and they're spending this money and investing it into things that are probably once, but things that support and grow other businesses, other people who are trying to, you know, um make their place in this world.
  6. 0:48 Um and you could see it as you're buying wasteful things, and there's better things to do with your money, but um if you look at it from an economic standpoint, you know, that is what drives you know our economy.
  7. 1:04 That is what drives a capitalist capitalistic country.
  8. 1:08 Um and it's that kind of money, it's the disposable income that obviously super wealthy people have much more of than the average person, but it's that disposable income that will drive a capitalist economy.
  9. 1:19 Because if people are only buying needs, then it's gonna be even harder for people and businesses to break into um and gather their own um share of the market.
