- 0:00 The first brand CEO, Patrick James, has resigned after the company announced bankruptcy last month.
- 0:07 And this is becoming a really hot topic now because after lots of investigation, it seems as if there was some misconduct going on within their financial statements, uh, holding a lot more debt than investors were originally aware of.
- 0:21 And this is because there could be potential misconduct, and it seems as if they were double selling their accounts receivables.
- 0:28 Uh and for those who don't know, FERSP FIRST uh brands is a company that sells lots of parts to uh AutoZone, such as different sorts of uh sensors, uh wipers, uh all the stuff necessary in the automotive sector that's sold at uh Auto Parts, uh AutoZone and Advanced Auto Parts.
- 0:48 So really interesting to see what happens here.
- 0:51 Uh obviously investors are are panicking a lot after this has been announced, and uh we'll see where it goes.
- 0:57 But definitely an ongoing investigation, and it seems as if they've been uh double-pledging their accounts receivables, which is not a good sign.
