- 0:00 Yeah, Davidson, I think you bring up a really good point about how the US has really been slacking, especially on measures on how to protect ourselves from this up and coming technological revolution.
- 0:11 I guess that's the way to put it.
- 0:13 Um I didn't I didn't know that the yet Europe or Britain has been starting to implement AI uh limitations, and I think that's something the US, especially as a government, should start definitely looking up on.
- 0:25 Because as you said, AI is getting better and smarter and bigger each and every day.
- 0:31 Um there's this uh doubling rule at or this this rate that um AI doubles every other year.
- 0:39 And so in the next year and a half, its generative power is gonna double.
- 0:43 And every single year, year every other year after that, it just keeps doubling.
- 0:48 And so it gets to a point where AI is gonna have this generative power to think on its own.
- 0:54 And once that happens, how are we as humans gonna be able to stop them?
- 0:59 And so it's an interesting point.
- 1:01 I think the US government definitely start putting some implications on AI and how how extremely fast it's building up.
- 1:11 Um there's a lot of curiosity and uncertainty with the use of AI and how it's gonna expand, how it's gonna play a role in our lives in the future.
- 1:20 And I think it may be too late already.
- 1:23 I mean, who knows?
- 1:25 But I think the US should definitely start looking into implementing some sort of rule, some sort of piece of legislation that I mean limits the use of AI, because I mean at the end of the day, it's getting smarter, it's getting stronger, it's getting better every day.
- 1:40 So who knows?
- 1:41 Who knows what's gonna happen next.
