- 0:00 Oh, and I haven't heard about these smart contacts.
- 0:04 And I think you draw a very intellectual connection to glucose monitoring.
- 0:12 That was not the first thing I would thought.
- 0:15 You know, I am not a diabetic myself, never had to track my glucose.
- 0:19 But that does seem like a very good way to do it.
- 0:21 And it would also be it would also be an extremely effective method for athletes and people in games.
- 0:33 But one thing, you know, I do wear contacts.
- 0:35 I'm wearing my glasses now, and I have always struggled.
- 0:39 Um it took me years to find the right contacts.
- 0:42 I have astigmatism, so my eyes are different shapes, and you know, I was amazed that I could not find contacts to fit my eyeballs for the longest time.
- 0:49 And I used to have so much trouble with them when I would play sports.
- 0:53 Like every football game, I would keep I would leave a spare pair of contacts with the athletic trainer on the sideline, and about half the time I would have to switch them out throughout the game just to be able to see the football.
- 1:05 So, you know, I think the the diabetic application would definitely be a very beneficial one, but also just in general, um as contacts get grow and get better.
- 1:17 Um I could have benefited from you know advanced contacts.
- 1:21 So I think there's definitely a market here, and I think that's a really good idea and definitely a very interesting topic.
