- 0:00 Those are really interesting topics, Sonny.
- 0:02 I actually studied some of this over in London during the summer about how AI can be used in politics and the ethics of it.
- 0:10 And it was really interesting.
- 0:11 So for example, uh we went over this AI machine that will help lobby for certain points and it would call users and it would based on data would talk to them about points that it could think would make them change their votes.
- 0:26 So for example, say like just do big presidential election.
- 0:30 It would call voters on the edge and it would use like their social media data, um data from shopping habits, you know, geographical data, like where they live, and it would find issues that that would specifically affect this person and it could use AI, like it would use an AI robot to talk to them to specifically sway their vote.
- 0:52 And it's really interesting because while it's not quite being used yet, it could be a big thing in the future which can completely sway elections and again, like you said, spread misinformation because as AI gets more advanced, it's A hard to tell if an AI is an actual person, so the person talking on the phone could be hard to tell if it's an AI.
- 1:13 And also, like you said, you can make videos and photos now and they're getting really realistic.
- 1:18 It can be hard to tell unless it's like something obviously stupid or way out of control, if a video is true or not.
- 1:26 And that can just really sway elections these days, and it's very dangerous.
- 1:30 So I'm excited to see what's gonna happen with this very, very hot topic right now.
