I did not realize how much energy is used to power Chat GPT and Open AI and did not know how big of an issue it is.

I looked it up and the International Energy Agency estimated that global electricity use from data centers, AI, and crypto could double by 2026 compared to 2022.

So in only four years, the amount of energy needed to power these uh Chat GPT open AI um will double, which is crazy.

In order to continue the rate of Chat GPT usage that we are currently using, we must harness more energy, which will divert our workforce to harnessing more energy, which can open up jobs, but also depletes jobs in other areas.
