Hines Harmon0:00 Hey y'all.0:02 Have you ever felt burnt out after a long week of work and next thing you know you have to go back to work?0:07 It's already Sunday night and you're just laying in bed and you don't want to get up the next morning.0:11 What if there was a way to get rid of the burnout from the traditional five-day, 40-hour work week that's been here forever?0:20 It's too old, it's outdated, and there's a fix for it.0:24 What if we could get all of our work done in four days, have a three-day weekend, and still be just as productive?0:31 And that's the idea.0:32 The four-day work week.0:33 The model's simple.0:34 It's called the 180-100 model.0:37 You get 100% wages for 80% of the work in exchange for delivering 100% of the results.0:44 And this study was actually done in the UK, and the evidence is amazing.0:48 After a six month trial, 92% of the companies decided to make the four-day work week permanent because resignations dropped by 57%, and 71% of employees said they had lower levels of burnout.1:01 But the most amazing part of this study is revenue actually increased by an average of 35% during the trial.1:07 By cutting out waste of time and focusing on what really matters, companies became even more successful.1:14 So the evidence is clear.1:15 A shorter work week doesn't just reduce burnout.1:18 It can create a more motivated, efficient, and loyal workforce.1:21 It's a change that could redefine the way businesses run today.
Walt Brunson0:01 You know, I think this is a really interesting uh topic, but I think it it kind of falls m uh into the greater scope of of why we need to keep questioning questioning our societal norms and our and our work norms and industry norms.0:15 Um you gotta think in you know the early 1900s when when Henry Ford kind of invented the five-day work week more or less, um it has become the the standard up to this point.0:28 But I don't think anybody has really understood or looked into very deeply how that's affecting the workforce and how it's affecting the uh uh the psychology of the workforce.0:42 I think is an important important and underrated uh aspect of our productivity.0:47 Um looking at things like you take that you take that extra day away and you see the increased motivation, increased productivity, you see decreased burnout, you see decreased resignations.0:58 I mean I think I think it's a win-win, and that's really that's really what we need to look for, is these win-win situations where uh the employers are winning, the employees are winning, you can see overall growth in the economy, everybody's happy.1:11 I mean that's that's really just uh a win for the workforce.
