  1. 0:00 Yeah, Casey, I think this is a a really big issue we need to talk about as a country.
  2. 0:04 Um I think personally that media should be should leave politics out of it.
  3. 0:12 Like people turn on the TV late at night after a long day of work to relax.
  4. 0:17 Like they don't want to be constantly berated by this polarizing talk from either party.
  5. 0:23 Like yes, late-night shows are tend to be more liberal, so you see the conservative market not viewing that, but you hear like talk shows or radios, mostly conservatives, so liberals don't listen to that.
  6. 0:35 And I mean I guess what it is is is these companies kind of catering to their bases, like the political parties of their bases.
  7. 0:43 But at the end of the day, if we want to kind of survive and thrive as a society, we need to take politics out of entertainment.
  8. 0:50 Like people just want to be entertained.
  9. 0:51 They don't want to be constantly lectured on what's going on or like what they should believe.
  10. 0:56 I mean you see it with Disney.
  11. 0:57 Um they become increasingly political to an extent where um they've kind of lost their identity and and you can see the quality of their of their uh product just decreasing.
  12. 1:08 And that's largely due to the politic politic politicization of these inter entertainment companies.
  13. 1:15 And I mean, yeah, personally, like I really don't watch any of that stuff just because I don't want to be lectured constantly and you know when you turn the TV on you just want to relax.
  14. 1:24 So I think it's a big issue we need to solve.
  15. 1:27 Um it's definitely definitely good to to bring up discussion on this and you know I'm interested to see where it goes, if it if it gets worse or if if people start to kinda phase politics out of the entertainment world, but I mean yeah, it's a it's a big issue.
