Adi Patel0:00 Hey y'all.0:01 Um I recently got out of an English debate and we were talking about the ethics of artificial intelligence and how beneficial or detrimental it could be to society.0:12 And out of this debate, um I've just been conflicted on pretty much both sides of the argument.0:19 And so we are talking about the effects of generative AI and on how it could influence society.0:25 And to summarize, generative AI is AI that can think for itself pretty much and make its own decisions.0:33 And I was conflicted because generative AI could potentially be what saves human society as a whole, or it could also tear it down.0:45 An example of this would be how AI is able to take information from thousands of millions of different articles, pictures, everything on the internet, and use that to answer whatever you want.1:00 And so I think artists and people in the art community could be could potentially have their jobs taken.1:09 Because AI could all you have to do is ask AI to replicate Vincent Van Gogh's portrait or anything like that, and they could instantly draw one out for you.1:20 And I'm not talking about chat GBT or that form of AI.1:24 There's millions of other forms of AI that are being experimented with that are upcoming and rising.1:31 And so the big question is how ethical is the use of artificial intelligence.1:36 And I think that while we are talking about this having this debate, I think that question should be rew reworded into how to properly use artificial intelligence to your benefit.1:48 Because now that AI is here, it's never gonna go away.1:51 And even though it may take away jobs and influence the economy and society, I think that there should all be positive ways to use this to reinforce the community.2:02 And I think if artificial intelligence is put in the wrong hands, such as people in power who are abusing it, it could potentially turn into an unethical form of power and be detrimental to society.2:17 So yeah, let me know y'all's thoughts on this.
