  1. 0:00 Hey Casey, I think you make a lot of good points there.
  2. 0:02 I agree with you on pretty much this whole conversation.
  3. 0:05 Um I think that a huge driving factor in mental health issues is definitely the increased use of social media within our generation, especially.
  4. 0:15 And the fact that as kids are getting younger, they're getting more access to social media and things they shouldn't really be seeing at that age.
  5. 0:24 Um I think that once they get hooked on a social media at a young age, it definitely keeps like messing with their brains, messing with the ability, because kids at that age haven't necessarily gotten all the uh the things that they need.
  6. 0:37 Um they haven't matured yet, and so the things that they feed their brain with, um, it grows as they get older and then drives the mental health issues we have today.
  7. 0:48 Um it's a I have a great example.
  8. 0:50 I've got family members who are in their young, their kids, they're around 10, 12 years old, even younger maybe, and they get hooked on to like YouTube, TikTok, and things like that.
  9. 1:01 And then as an adult, as a parent, when you take these things away from them, they completely change the attitude.
  10. 1:08 They're they feel like they've been they've gotten something taken away from them.
  11. 1:11 And it just kind of shows how kids at a young age today have grown up completely differently than kids in generations past have.
  12. 1:19 Like we grew up mainly going outside, playing with playing uh outside in the yard and things like that.
  13. 1:26 And kids nowadays are hooked inside on their iPads, on their phones, just scrolling on social media and watching all that.
  14. 1:33 And it's kinda we're gonna see it coming up in the future how these kids, how they were raised on technology, how they grow differently, how they act differently in this upcoming generation.
  15. 1:42 I think that since we have allowed the younger kids to have access to all this, it's gonna be a complete generation and culture change.
  16. 1:51 And um I I think it's gonna play a huge role on the future generation of how they're gonna grow up and how they're gonna live their life.
  17. 1:59 Um Yeah.
  18. 2:02 I think you had a I think I got you had a great topic here and I agree with a lot of your points.
