  1. 0:00 So something I've been thinking about recently with these wars, and mainly, you know, I see so much content on my feeds of videos from war, and it's horrible, you know, and you look at the news and you see the destruction in Gaza, you see the destruction in um Southeastern Ukraine and all across Ukraine and Russian oil facilities getting blown up.
  2. 0:22 And I mean, it's just everybody has a phone now, so it can get videoed immediately.
  3. 0:27 And actually, this was pretty interesting, but there was three Russian um kids, they were like 21, 20 years old, and they posted a video of of themselves like laughing like holy cow and videoing a Russian oil um depot that had just been blown up.
  4. 0:42 They were like, wow, uh Ukraine got us, and they were immediately arrested that same day and tried for treason um for showing that.
  5. 0:51 But anyway, so it's just a different tidbit.
  6. 0:53 But um something I wanted to think about is you know, in the in the Gulf War, um hundreds of thousands of of you know, uh over a hundred thousand civilians died in that war, um, and for for many different reasons, and you know, the lines get blurred between who's a civilian and who's not when you have some of these militia-style armies.
  7. 1:17 But when you look at some of the numbers coming out of Gaza, and now these numbers, this is why I I want to hear y'all's thoughts on this, because I'm aware that these numbers are very blurry, and um, without people like Snowden and you know, some of the other whistleblowers, um, we wouldn't know some of the numbers that came out of the Middle East from the United States.
  8. 1:39 But if you look at our numbers from what we did in Afghanistan, from what we did in Iraq, it's not far off from the civilian to combat and casualty rate in Gaza right now.
  9. 1:52 Um the leveling of homes is is slightly different.
  10. 1:56 Um and you know, you could chalk that up saying, you know, they operate in those areas.
  11. 2:01 Who knows if that's the case?
  12. 2:03 But you know, war has always been disgusting.
  13. 2:07 Um, it's always been extremely nasty, especially in the Middle East and places like Vietnam, you know, um we it really gets it really gets nasty.
  14. 2:18 And um, you know, had we not had some of those whistleblowers like I mentioned, we'd have never seen or heard of the true horrors that Americans put their money behind and that Americans committed.
  15. 2:30 And you know, now we see the IDF doing it and everybody's losing their mind.
  16. 2:36 And uh it's horrible what they're doing, don't get me wrong, all of it's horrible.
  17. 2:39 Um, people are dying every day, but are we just seeing more of it now?
  18. 2:45 Like if everybody would have had phones um to video and upload these wars, uh, you know, like in the Gulf War and and all this, all these things, like would it have been the same reaction?
  19. 2:57 Um, what do you guys think?
  20. 3:00 Do you think that these wars have accelerated, or do you think that we just see it more now and we see how terrible it is, and that's why we're talking about it more.
  21. 3:08 Let me know.
