  1. 0:00 So I want to talk about something we're all probably pretty familiar with and that's sports gambling in America um and re the recent booms that we've seen um with these player pick apps like prize pick sleeper underdog you go down the list you've got DraftKings and fan duels and all these places um but at what point has it gone too far because everybody I know you know either sports gambles has before knows somebody that has I mean it's it's very commonplace in our society um you hear it everywhere you see on your phone you get advertisements 24-7.
  2. 0:40 If you try to watch a football game it's nearly unbearable.
  3. 0:43 Um there's certain programs that are l that are designed um they display live odds at all times um having just recently gone to Vegas and seeing how insane um the sports gambling industry really is I mean you go to Vegas and you there's there's money all around you on all these different things and um you can bet on anything and and it's forced it's forced down your throat and you know they they're they're really good marketers and they're really effective but w ri seriously when does it go too far?
  4. 1:19 Um like I I d I don't know I I wonder at what point you know people step in because it's a it's it it affects about one percent of the American population that but they have gambling problems and that's that's a lot of people um so I don't know and I wonder if maybe I think potentially the government could step in and pull some of the money towards the lot um towards school systems like how the lottery does it um because you know at least if you're losing the lottery you're funding the or our state schools and you know if we harness any amount of the money that gets bet on gambling we could we could probably help our schools out a lot more um but yeah as of now it seems to be seems to be pretty unchecked which is honestly pretty crazy given the speed at which it's grown um but yeah I want to know what you guys think about this because there's a lot going on here
