- 0:00 Luke, you you bring up a very good point.
- 0:02 Um, and I didn't really know the tax credit was going away recently.
- 0:06 But one thing I wanted to talk about is um I've been valet parking all semester and you know probably drove a few thousand random people's vehicles and yes it's a higher end dining restaurant, so you're gonna see some customers that have a little bit more money or willing to spend these, but I would say minimum one third of the cars that I drive are EVs or hybrids.
- 0:28 Um so I I don't think that they're going away anytime soon.
- 0:31 And um some of the Teslas and all are very jumpy and you know like not the most fun to drive.
- 0:37 They don't feel like a regular car.
- 0:39 But some of those vehicles I didn't even know they were EVs until um like my second or third time driving them because they feel exactly like driving your mom's car or something like that.
- 0:49 Like um, so I think that you know the socially acceptable internal combustion engine is um it's definitely a thing, it's definitely a norm.
- 0:58 You know, I probably won't drive a car that doesn't burn gas in for a long time in my life, but I just wanted to point out that there's a there's a lot more cars that you would see that you maybe wouldn't even realize are fully electric, but I mean people are driving them and I don't think that the market's gone away from them anytime soon.
- 1:17 And um yeah, my the you know these mining practices are poor and they are pollutant, but I don't know.
- 1:25 I feel like uh not having to pay for gas every month, I would certainly appreciate that and you know I would you know if I if if that's what it came down to that that'd be a quick way to save a couple hundred dollars a year.
- 1:36 But um yeah, it's interesting, we'll see how it goes.
