  1. 0:00 So recently I've been seeing a lot on my uh timeline of just yes I liked a dog hunting video and then a bunch of them started showing up you know whether it's from labs going to retrieve ducks um or dove or quail or any kind of um bird that's already been shot and um dispatched but some of the things I see like um you know I've I've ran deer with dogs before and you know you you still end up shooting the deer but uh you know it doesn't it's definitely a lot easier.
  2. 0:36 I mean you you literally have trained dogs coming um and bringing the deer to you in a sense and then also those dogs typically don't live the best life, you know, like uh the people that I know that have hunting dogs like they have house dogs too, and they'll have you know the the dogs that they go and throw the ball with and then those dogs kind of just live in their pen down by like whatever barn or whatever, you know, or on another piece of property um and kind of just only serve their purpose to hunt and they're really good at it, and you know, when they hunt like hogs as well, like deer a lot of the time gets eaten.
  3. 1:13 People that hunt raccoons with dogs, you know, not a whole lot of people eat raccoons.
  4. 1:17 Um, but that's one of the most common things to hunt with dogs just because you do it it's not at night and um it's kind of like a fun thing I guess.
  5. 1:26 Um But you know when you see some of these hogs like just destroying or some of these dogs just like destroying some of these hogs, um it it's it looks horrible like it's it's unfair, it doesn't feel like a fair kill to me.
  6. 1:42 Um I think it's I think it's kinda wrong in some of those senses, but also like hogs do destroy people's land, and you know there's a reason it's a lot easy easier to get uh permits to get them off of your land uh forcefully.
  7. 1:57 But also like dog hunting like mountain lions up in Colorado and and stuff like that.
  8. 2:02 I mean just about like you can't stalk a mountain lion and kill it, like it'll find you like it'll it'll disappear.
  9. 2:08 And you know, one of the only ways is to put these dogs on a scent trail and let them, you know, corner this cat into a tree and shoot out of a tree, which is pretty bizarre too.
  10. 2:18 Um and a mountain lion I think is a good example because like if you want it, I mean it's very rare they even let themselves be seen.
  11. 2:27 Um it's you know that's an animal that you could never kill.
  12. 2:31 And you know, sometimes you things need to go, you know, if it's a menace to the neighborhood or something like that, but I don't know.
  13. 2:39 It's su dog hunting has always been um a strange thing.
  14. 2:46 Um and some of it's more humane than others, but yeah, what do y'all think?
