  1. 0:00 Luca, you're right on the money here Talking about how much energy these plants are gonna pull.
  2. 0:06 I nearly went and worked on the data center myself.
  3. 0:09 And having heard a little more about them and toured two of them myself, it the scale of what they're doing is ridiculous.
  4. 0:17 But I just wanted to talk about two solutions.
  5. 0:20 You know, I don't know a whole lot about them, they're pretty new ideas.
  6. 0:23 Um but a lot of places are leaning towards modular nuclear reactors or just small ones that come and you know, you put the precast concrete members in place and you build it out from there.
  7. 0:34 And you know, the nuclear stigma is obviously very bad in America since Three Mile Island and then Chernobyl scared the entire globe.
  8. 0:42 Um also the Japanese uh nuclear meltdown as well.
  9. 0:47 So there's been some big issues, but you know, these small modular reactors are just as safe as it gets in terms of any energy production.
  10. 0:56 Um so I think we're gonna start to see that a lot.
  11. 0:59 I also just watched a video recently um on YouTube from a channel called the B1M, and they were exploring how China is starting to build some of their data centers underwater to use the natural temperature on some of the ocean's floors to cool their machines because you know a lot of energy goes into just cooling these these huge computers.
  12. 1:23 So there's um the energy demand is growing, and whichever contractor um can figure out how to build a modular reactor and support these data centers best is gonna be very well suited because these data centers are they're they're the growing, um they're the fastest growing market sector in construction and the contractors that are good at data centers are performing really well right now.
  13. 1:47 Um so whenever whenever we figure out what the true next step is for producing this energy, other than just on-site plants without be a modular reactor or something of that nature, um there's a lot of money flowing into it, and it's only gonna keep continue to grow with the evolution of AI.
