- 0:00 Um, I think you bring up some very valid points here.
- 0:02 Um, you know, first of all, capitalism has led to a lot of innovations, it's very true.
- 0:07 Um, but I think one thing that we're really gonna see that's been talked a lot more here recently is the wealth gap.
- 0:13 And you know, as we continue into perpetuity, people are the rich are only gonna get richer and the poor will likely get poor.
- 0:19 Um that seems to be a pretty consistent trend we've seen throughout capitalism's short history.
- 0:24 However, one thing I wanted to point out about capitalism versus some of these other countries is you know, this is kind of a stretch here, but capitalism just produces a pretty ugly product.
- 0:36 Um I don't know if when the last time you went to a beach down um honestly any beach across the southeast that I can think of before you get there, you drive the last 40 to 50 miles of just beach parkway with huge shopping centers on all sides and large stoplights and strip malls and tanger outlets.

- 0:57 Um when I took a road trip across the country and just looked at the way we were built and how it was all just profit-driven.
- 1:04 Um, not very much consideration for culture or class, and it's hard to see.
- 1:09 I mean, obviously, our society was started um under much different circumstances than like the ancient European places that we know of, but um honestly a lot of the outcomes are quite ugly.
