  1. 0:00 Yeah, Gaines, that's um that's a really good point.
  2. 0:02 Um You know, I think I don't want to I think it's dangerous to say that they're not effective or not a good thing because I do think they are.
  3. 0:10 I like sometimes if you're in your car or you're out and about, you know, a little thing of hand sanitizer is better than doing nothing, and it will um you know still be effective.
  4. 0:19 But yeah, I think there is this stigma around um those kind of products, and you know, they put it on their their thing.
  5. 0:26 They say it kills ninety-nine point nine percent of germs.
  6. 0:28 Um and the point of that is so that the if you do like get sick or or whatever, if it's not as effective, you can't really be like, oh well, you said it was a hundred percent effective.
  7. 0:39 It was the fact that they said ninety nine point nine, so that they can say, you know, maybe there's it was that point one.
  8. 0:44 But in reality, without the warm water, the soap, what the act that you actually get in a bathroom, um, that's not gonna be as effective.
  9. 0:52 So in reality, it's not 99.9.
  10. 0:54 And I think that experiment you did is um very interesting.
  11. 0:58 Um and I don't know, I I think people are washing their hands less and less, I feel like.
  12. 1:03 Just um, you know, I think it's more it's kind of normalized for people to not wash their hands as often, like just after coming from coming inside after doing whatever outside.
  13. 1:14 Um so I don't know.
